Construction- Composite-reinforced Thigh Rise: The Catalyst PX5 leg pads feature a composite-reinforced thigh rise, redesigned to increase stiffness by 30% compared to the previous PX3 pads. Not just increasing thigh rise stiffness, the Catalyst PX5 pads' composite-reinforced thigh rise measures 40% thinner than previous generation Lefevre pads, easing overlap and moving with a lighter overall feel.
- Traditional, Knee Roll Face: Evolving from True/Lefevre's Catalyst pad line-up, the Catalyst PX5 pads take the ice with a classic knee roll face, comprised of dense foams that give the pads a wider range of rebound response.

- Centered, High-density Foam Bridge w/ Skate Lace Ties: Traditional skate lace toe ties with a centered high density foam toe bridge.
- Centered, High-density Foam Bridge w/ Push Bungee Lace Ties: Function similarly to Hybrid Pro laces, but allow more stretch around the skates with elastic Velcro® strapping. Additionally, the Push Bungee ties anchor the toe bridge with a short static lace to keep a tighter feel when pushing off the posts.
Break Options- 590 (Stock): Stock, the Catalyst PX5 glove is built around the popular 590 break. The most common off-the-shelf glove break, the 590 projects a wide catching shape with a neutral, more whole-handed closure.
- 580: Projects a wide funnel-shaped palm with a deep pocket, offset up and towards the goalie. Breaks over the palm and pocket to lock in pucks with a fingers-to-palm, snap-shaped closure.
- 600: Projects a deep funnel from the fingers and palm, leading into a wide, more centered pocket that closes around a catcher's mitt-like feel.
