CCM's EFLEX 6 blocker is built to control the crease in comfort with its plush padded palm, and agile balance. Streamlined over its predecessor, the EF6 blocker offers a balanced, more nimble feel with a rigid board to fire away pucks with precision.

Build

LITECORE™ Board w/ High-density Padding: The EFLEX 6 blocker is built around CCM's LITECORE blocker board, a highly-rigid injection molded board core to pop pucks into the corners without adding excess weight. With its lighter board feel, the EF6 offers a more nimble feel compared to the previous EF5 blocker.

Centered Palm: Complementing the EFLEX 6 blocker's lightened board, a centered palm position balances its lightweight board over the center of the hand. On the ice, its centered palm position further reduces rotational resistance for effortless and precise positioning.

FLEXMOTION² Cuff: Carried over from CCM's Axis 2 blocker, the EFLEX 6 blocker's dense cuff/wrist padding are arranged into three flexible segments with hook-and-loop anchors to tighten or open up the cuff.

Hand Protection

Curved HD Finger Protection w/ D3O® Smart Material: To ensure confident protection against stray pucks and sticks, the EFLEX 6 blocker wraps the fingers with high-density foam finger blocks with a layer of reactive D3O®  protection for the index finger. Found frequently in high-end motorcycle gear, D3O® Smart Material tightens its molecular structure as force is applied; hardening on impact to absorb and redirect impact energies, while remaining more pliable at rest.

Molded X-Stiff Sidewall: The EFLEX 6 further reduces weight over its predecessor with an injection molded sidewall. CCM's rigid injection molding both improves side protection and reduces flex between the blocker board and sidewall.

Palm

AX Suede DURAPALM: The EFLEX 6 blocker is controlled from a durable, double-layered AX Suede palm. Its high-tack AX Suede palm locks-in with the goalie's paddle/shoulder for a confident, slip-resistant grip.

Polygiene® Treatment: To help keep this glove fresh, its palm materials are treated with POLYGIENE ODORCRUNCH™ & POLYGIENE BIOSTATIC™ technologies. These unique textile treatments from Polygiene®, imbue a silica-based blend of particles within the blocker’s synthetic suede to help prevent the growth and settlement of odor-causing bacteria.

Build

LITECORE™ Cuff/Thumb: Primary in its greatly reduced weight, the EFLEX 6 glove is built around a highly-rigid injection molded cuff/thumb. On the ice, the EF6 glove's LITECORE™ build gives it a quick, responsive feel with effortless positioning compared to its predecessor.

581 Break: New for the EF6 glove, CCM debuts their modern take on the classic 580 break angle. The EFLEX 6 glove's cuff and palm are shaped to funnel pucks into the pocket, breaking over with a fingers-to-palm closure to lock pucks in.

Form Fit System w/ Index & Pinky Loops: Introduced with the Axis 2 glove, CCM's unique, heat-activated form fit system replaces traditional finger stalls at the middle and ring fingers with a heat-moldable embossed suede. Designed for a personalized fit, CCM's form fit inner palm molds to the goalie's unique hand shape through oven thermoforming or more organically, after a few skates.

Straight, Double-T Pocket: In combination with its 581 closure, the EFLEX 6 goalie glove ships with CCM's straight, double-t web for maximum pocket depth and greater visibility.

Cross Form Strap: Offering 4 points of adjustment across the back of the hand, CCM's plush, x-shaped cross form strap allows for a snug fit without needing to lock-down the goalie's wrist. Compared to the market's shift to rigid, flat-faced pads, CCM's EFLEX 6 leg pads are built to control the crease with a more traditional build and a highly-adjustable, flexible feel. Built around CCM's dynamic DUALLITECORE, the EFLEX 6 pads stand out for the goalies who prefer a flexible, more dynamic feel over more rigid, flat-faced pads.

Core Construction

DUALITECORE: CCM's DUALITECORE offers a more all-around feel, staying flexible below the knee, balanced by its more rigid thigh rise. On the ice, their DUALITECORE gives the EFLEX 6 leg pads a tighter, more stable thigh rise seal, while allowing more flex below for big, dynamic moves.

Pre-curved Core w/ Single Internal Break: Signature to CCM's EFLEX pads, the EFLEX 6 pads are built around a pre-curved core shape with a single internal break below the knee. In the crease, the EF6's soft precurve allow the goalie to hold a tighter stance and a more narrow butterfly, without compromising 5-hole seal.

Control Rebound Padding: CCM’s EFLEX 6 pads are padded throughout with CCM's adaptive Control Rebound Technology. In practice, these pads' dynamic padding gives goalies a balanced rebound feel, able to dampen and control softer shots in the crease, or fire away more powerful shots.

Shallow, 90° Boot w/ Soft Flex: CCM's stock boot for EFLEX 6 pads, their shallow, 90° boot positions the pads higher on the skates, helping to reduce binding and put the pad to the ice faster.

DRS (Dynamic Response System) Pro: Reinforced one-piece calf plate with a two-piece knee stack, integrated at the bottom layer for a more direct pad response and improved long-term durability.

Strapping

Quick Motion Strap System 2 (QMSS 2): CCM's dynamic, Y-strap upper calf strapping secures the EFLEX 6 pads with a molded, 3D grip material and adjustable tension. On ice, CCM's QMSS2 strapping with molded 3D grip provides multi-point control over the pads, while also allowing goalies to more finely tune pad rotation.

DRS Pro Strap: CCM's adjustable knee strap design, allows goalies to choose their preferred fit: Behind the knee to the removable knee wing, down and across to the calf wrap, or entirely removed.
