CCM's Axis F5 leg pads are purpose-built to offer young goalies the mobility and response of CCM's butterfly-oriented Axis line-up.

Core Construction

LiteCore™ w/ Single Internal Break: CCM's LiteCore™ gives the F5 pads a rigid feel, with strong pop and a lightweight, pre-curved construction, optimized for cross-crease mobility.

High-Density Foams: HD impact foams pad each core, designed to fire pucks away from the crease with precision.

Knee & Calf Support

DRS Knee Stack: CCM's Dynamic Response System implements a two-piece HD knee stack, anchored into a one-piece inner edge to improve pad response and long-term durability.

DRS Strap: Highly adjustable, the DRS knee strap can be run behind the knee to the removable knee wing, down to the calf wrap, or be removed entirely.

Quick Motion Strap System 2: CCM's dynamic Y-strap secures at the upper calves with easily adjustable tension.

Boot Design

Hybrid Toe Ties: CCM's new hybrid bungee toe ties ecure each boot while allowing more give over traditional skate lace toe ties, but less give when pushing off the posts over bungee toe ties.

Offset, HD Toe Bridge: Offset toe bridge allows the skates to fall at a more ergonomic angle in butterfly, improving edge control and helping to relieve lowerbody strain.

Shallow Leg Channel w/ 90° Boot: To reduce equipment binding and ensure the best possible pad rotation, these pads feature a shallow leg channel, and a shallow, 90° boot.

CCM's Axis F5 glove is built to offer young goalies a lightweight and responsive glove, with an intuitive fit and a smooth closure.

Build

LiteCore™ Cuff: The F5 glove is built around an injection-molded, one-piece cuff to provide rigid, lightweight protection up to the glove's 591 palm.

591 Break: CCM's take on the popular 590 break, offering a fingertip-to-mid-thumb closure combined with their unique Form Fit System.

Game Ready: Ships game-ready to ensure young goalies can easily break-in and comfortably control the glove.

Fit & Comfort

Form Fit System: CCM's form fit system replaces traditional finger stalls with a heat-moldable, embosed suede palm and finger lining, designed to conform to the goalie's unique finger positioning.

FlexMotion Cuff: New, segmented FlexMotion 2 backhand designed to ensure proper backhand coverage without interfering with the glove's closure.

Cross Form Strap: Provides a secure and comfortable multi-point fit, higher on the back of the hand to allow greater mobility in the wrist.
