- Cross Form Strap: Offering 4 points of adjustment across the back of the hand, CCM's plush, x-shaped cross form strap allows for a snug fit without needing to lock-down the goalie's wrist. Familiar to fans of the Axis 2 glove, the Axis XF glove's cross form strap allows for precise positioning with an overall more agile feel from the wrist.
Cuff Thumb/Break Options- 591 Break w/ Form Fit System (Stock): CCM's take on the most popular break found in retail gloves, the 591 projects wide across the palm and fingers with a pocket centered closer to the cuff. Closes in-line with the glove's palm break for a whole-handed, fingers-to-mid-thumb feel, sealing the fingers slightly over the cuff. CCM's form fit system replaces finger stalls at the middle and ring fingers with a heat-moldable inner palm, designed to mold the goalie's hand shape with thermoforming or after a few skates.
- 580 Break w/ Traditional Finger Stalls: Excellent for more upright catching, CCM's 580 projects a wide funnel-shaped palm and a deep pocket, offset up and towards the goalie. Fingers-to-palm, snap-shaped closure, breaks the T-web over itself and fingers over the palm to lock in pucks.
- 590 Break w/ Traditional Finger Stalls: Similar in-line closure to 591, palm breaks in-line with the pocket for a whole-handed, fingers-to-mid-thumb feel. Replaces Form Fit system with traditional finger stalls.

Palm Protection/Stiffness (591 Only)- Game Ready Palm w/ D3O®: Stock, the Axis XF glove ships with CCM's Game Ready palm protection, padded at the base of the fingers with additional layer of reactive, D3O® palm protection. Found frequently in high-end motorcycle gear, D3O® Smart Material tightens its molecular structure as force is applied; hardening on impact to absorb and redirect impact energies, while remaining more pliable at rest.
