The Velocity 7480i is our new limited edition intermediate sized goal pad and features taller plus 1.5" thigh rise. The 7480i
is a hybrid design to provide the feel of a conventional Velocity pad in the lower leg, but with a thinner upper knee and thigh section with a more solid construction with tighter five-hole coverage. Solid top outside roll and internal high density foams provide for a more solid blocking surface. Fully adjustable knee cradle with Velcro and lace attachment allows for the knee cradle to be moved and customized for a precise fit. The 7480i pad features a wide flat inner edge to provide excellent pad stability while down on the ice and uses a high density foam on the inner edge to prevent hard shots from pushing past the five-hole and gives a tighter seal while down on the ice surface. Wide leg channel aids in pad rotation and allows for complete pad control for quick movements.
